"Quit Your Minister Post and Rejoin Us," Congress Leader Taunts BJP's Rao Inderjit

Captain Ajay Yadav Stokes Political Fire in Haryana, Urging Disgruntled BJP Minister to Abandon His Position Amidst Growing Internal Party Tensions

Rao Inderjit Singh

In a bold political move, former minister and senior Congress leader Captain Ajay Singh Yadav has publicly called on BJP's Rao Inderjit Singh to resign from his ministerial position and "sit among his brothers." This provocative statement has added fuel to the already simmering political tensions in Haryana, following Singh's recent expression of disappointment over not being elevated to a Cabinet Minister position.

Yadav didn't hold back in his criticism, suggesting that Singh shouldn't have accepted the position of Minister of State in the first place. "He was first made a Minister of State and then not given a significant department. He's been given a portfolio that nobody even knows about - even someone like me isn't aware of this department," Yadav remarked, highlighting what he perceives as a slight to Singh's political stature.

The Congress leader acknowledged that Singh has been treated unfairly by the BJP, stating that his discontent is justified. However, Yadav also criticized Singh for continuing to hold onto his position despite the apparent snub. "If he's so unhappy, why is he still clinging to the post?" Yadav questioned.

In a twist of political irony, Yadav mentioned that Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to visit Mahendragarh, seemingly to address Singh's grievances. This statement subtly underscores the seriousness of the situation within the BJP. The ongoing controversy stems from the recent cabinet reshuffle where Singh, despite his seniority and political influence in the region, was not promoted to a full cabinet rank. This has not only caused personal disappointment for Singh but has also exposed potential fissures within the BJP's state unit in Haryana.

As the political temperature rises, all eyes are now on how the BJP leadership will manage this delicate situation. The opposition Congress, led by voices like Yadav's, is eagerly exploiting every opportunity to widen the perceived cracks in the ruling party's unity.

The situation presents a complex political chess game: will Singh heed the provocative call from his former political allies, or will the BJP find a way to appease their disgruntled minister? As Haryana's political landscape continues to shift, this controversy may well set the tone for future political alignments in the state.
