The demand for a separate capital and High Court for Haryana has intensified, with BKU chief Gurnam Singh Charuni extending his support to the 'Haryana Banao Abhiyan' campaign.

Campaign Gains Momentum

The campaign for a separate capital and High Court for Haryana has gained momentum, with hundreds of people joining the movement. BKU chief Gurnam Singh Charuni has lent his support to the campaign, emphasizing the need for a separate capital and High Court for the state's development.

Need for Separate High Court

According to former Chairman of Punjab and Haryana Chandigarh Bar Council Randhir Singh Badhran, a separate High Court in Haryana is necessary for the establishment of a separate bar council. With over 14 lakh cases pending in various districts and sub-divisional courts, and over 6 lakh cases pending in the High Court, a separate High Court in Haryana would ensure speedy disposal of cases.

Public Support Sought

The campaign will reach out to every village in Haryana to mobilise public support for the demand. Meetings will be held with all gram panchayats in the state to strengthen the demand. A resolution has been passed in support of the campaign, demanding the Haryana government address the issue.
