Haryana is taking a big step forward in fighting crime. The state will soon have a new campus of the National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU). This isn't just any ordinary campus - it will be India's first Center of Excellence in forensic sciences.

A Big Deal for Crime-Solving

The new campus will be built on 50 acres of land. While the exact location in Haryana hasn't been decided yet, the project is already moving forward. Today, the Haryana government and NFSU signed an important agreement called a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This happened with India's Home Minister Amit Shah watching.

What Will This Campus Do?

  1. Faster Crime Solving The main goal of this new campus is to help solve crimes faster. It will have special tools and experts to look at evidence from crime scenes. This means police can find out what happened more quickly and catch criminals sooner.
  2. Training for Experts The campus won't just solve crimes. It will also teach people how to become forensic experts. Home Minister Amit Shah suggested opening a training institute here. This will help train people from Haryana and nearby states in forensic science.
  3. Advanced Research As a Center of Excellence, this campus will do new research in forensic science. This means they'll find new and better ways to solve crimes using science.

Government Support and Excitement

Chief Minister Nayab Saini is very happy about this project. He said it will make Haryana stronger and help give justice to victims of crimes more easily. This fits with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's idea of making justice easier to get for everyone.

Home Minister Amit Shah congratulated Haryana for getting this special center. He said it will help put three new laws into action by providing scientific help. These laws are probably about making the justice system work better.

A Long Time Coming

The idea for this center isn't new. Union Minister Manohar Lal said they first thought about it in 2022 after talking to Amit Shah. Right now, Haryana has four forensic labs, but this new center will be much bigger and more advanced.

What's Next?

The next step is to decide where in Haryana this campus will be built. Once that's done, construction can start. When it's finished, this center will be a big help not just for Haryana, but for solving crimes all over India.

This new forensic campus is a big deal for Haryana and for India. It shows how the government is using science to fight crime and make the country safer. It will help solve crimes faster, train new experts, and find new ways to catch criminals. For the people of Haryana, it means faster justice and a safer state.
