BJP national president JP Nadda launched a blistering attack on the opposition during a rally in Karnal, Haryana. He accused Congress leader Rahul Gandhi of being 'anti-national', claiming that Gandhi visited JNU after 'anti-India' slogans were raised there, such as 'Afzal hum sharminda hain, tere kaatil zinda hain' and 'Desh ke tukde honge, Inshallah'.

"If he is not called anti-national, then what should he be called?" Nadda questioned. The BJP chief also targeted Sonia Gandhi over the Batla House encounter, alleging that she cried profusely, but for the terrorists. "When the Batla House incident came to light, it was also revealed that Sonia Gandhi cried bitterly, but for whom did she cry? She cried for the terrorists," he said.

Nadda did not spare the opposition alliance either, calling it an 'arrogant' coalition formed for self-interest. "Those who were against the Congress and said they would send them to jail are now embracing them. This 'Indy' alliance that has been formed is an arrogant coalition that has come for its own interests," he said.

The BJP president accused the Congress of considering only Muslims as minorities, neglecting Jains and Sikhs. "The Congress sees only Muslims as minorities. They don't see Jains, they don't see Sikhs. They only talk about minorities in their manifesto. For them, the minority is only Muslims," he alleged.

Nadda claimed that the Congress spreads venom among people, dividing them on the basis of religion and caste. "The Congress does the work of poisoning people by dividing them on the basis of religion and caste. Now is the time. Therefore, strengthen the BJP," he urged.

Highlighting the BJP's development agenda, Nadda said that the party has changed people's perception that whichever party comes to power does nothing. He credited the Modi government for working with the mantra of 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas' (Together, for everyone's development and trust).
