Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami is campaigning hard to support BJP candidates Banto Kataria and Naveen Jindal in Haryana's Ambala and Kurukshetra constituencies, aiming to secure votes from the Uttarakhand community and strengthen BJP's position in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

The electoral excitement in Haryana has reached a new high as Pushkar Singh Dhami, Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, actively campaigns for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Dhami is supporting BJP candidates Banto Kataria and Naveen Jindal, focusing on securing votes from the significant Uttarakhand community in Ambala and Kurukshetra constituencies.

On Thursday, Dhami addressed a large gathering in Yamunanagar. The event, organized by the Uttarakhand Samaj and BJP's Uttarakhand Cell, aimed to reach out to the estimated 20,000 voters from Uttarakhand living in the region.

In Ambala, the Lok Sabha seat includes Yamunanagar, Jagadhri, and Sadhaura. Approximately 11,000 voters in these areas have roots in Uttarakhand. Banto Kataria is the BJP candidate for this seat, facing Varun Chaudhary from the Congress party.

Dhami's campaign efforts also extended to the Kurukshetra constituency. The Radaur Assembly segment within this constituency has about 9,000 voters from Uttarakhand. Here, BJP's candidate is Naveen Jindal, competing against Sushil Kumar of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Abhay Singh Chautala of the Indian National Lok Dal (INLD).

During his speech, Dhami criticised the Congress party's long rule in India. "The Congress ruled for over 60 years, but the development work done by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a shorter time is much greater," he said. He also spoke about the progressive initiatives of the Uttarakhand Government, such as the implementation of the Uniform Civil Code, which has received national praise.

Bharat Bhushan Juyal, BJP leader and chairman of the Uttarakhand-Garhwal Sabha (Yamunanagar), explained the strategic purpose of the public meeting. He stated that the event was organised to campaign for Banto Kataria and Naveen Jindal, leveraging the support of the Uttarakhand voter base. Dhami's dynamic campaigning has energised BJP's efforts in Haryana. By focusing on the Uttarakhand community and highlighting the achievements of the Modi government, Dhami aims to consolidate BJP's support and secure victories for the party in both Ambala and Kurukshetra.

As the election approaches, Dhami's vigorous campaign activities demonstrate BJP's commitment to winning and utilising every resource to achieve a favourable outcome. This strategic move is expected to strengthen BJP's position in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, showcasing the party's determination to succeed.
