The election battle in Haryana is set to witness a high-voltage campaign drive as Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah get ready to hold a series of massive rallies across the state. In a big move to supercharge the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) campaign efforts, the two leaders will address six rallies in major constituencies, looking to solidify the party's support base and draw in more voters.

As per Subhash Barala, Rajya Sabha MP and head of the party's state poll management team, PM Modi will hold three rallies in the Ambala, Sonepat, and Bhiwani-Mahendragarh Lok Sabha areas. The Prime Minister's rallies are fixed for May 18 in Ambala and Gohana (Sonepat), with a grand event in Mahendragarh on May 23. Not to be outdone, Union Home Minister Amit Shah will also hit the campaign trail with rallies in Rohtak and Karnal on May 17 as the public meetings planned in Gurugram on May 16 stand cancelled.

The BJP's campaign machine will get more firepower from the Chief Ministers of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Uttarakhand, who will join the party's election efforts in the state. Plus, Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh's program is likely to be finalised soon, adding more muscle to the BJP's campaign.

Barala said the party has handed over the management of the Prime Minister's rallies to its senior leaders, showing how important these high-profile events are. Jind MLA Dr. Krishna Midha will oversee the Gohana rally, while Haryana minister Kanwar Pal Gujjar and party spokesman Jawahar Yadav will manage the Ambala and Mahendragarh rallies.

"The party workers are very excited about these rallies and have started preparing for them. PM Modi shares a deep bond with the state, having worked here as the party in-charge for a long time. In 2014, he kick started his nationwide campaign from Rewari with a rally for ex-servicemen. This time too, he visited Haryana twice before the campaigning began," Barala added.

Shamsher Kharak, the BJP's state media co-incharge, said the Prime Minister's rallies would give a huge boost to the party's campaign and increase the victory margins of BJP candidates. "The BJP will retain all 10 Lok Sabha seats in the state," Kharak asserted. These high-profile rallies by Modi and Shah are expected to electrify the BJP's voter base and grab widespread attention, as the party aims to cash in on the duo's popularity and mass appeal. With high stakes and tough competition, the BJP's campaign offensive aims to leave no stone unturned in its mission to secure a thumping win in the upcoming polls.

As campaigning intensifies, people of Haryana are bracing for a political spectacle on a grand scale, with the Prime Minister and Home Minister set to take centerstage, rallying support and making a powerful pitch for the BJP's re-election.
