JP Nadda, the National President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), embarked on a visit to Haryana on Friday. In Panchkula, he participated in a road show, urging voters to support Banto Kataria, the BJP's candidate for the Ambala Lok Sabha constituency. The road show commenced from Sector 7 and culminated at the BJP office in Sector 8. Accompanying Nadda during the road show were Banto Kataria and Aseem Goyal, the MLA and State Minister from Ambala.

Addressing the crowd, Nadda emphasized that these elections are not merely about Banto Kataria but a resolve to build a developed India under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He highlighted that the country's exports have risen by 106 percent during the Modi government's tenure, and every Indian now possesses a 'Made in India' mobile phone.

Following the road show, Nadda convened a meeting with senior party leaders at the BJP office in Panchkula. The meeting focused on strategizing for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, discussing ways to reach every voter and persuade them to support the BJP. The responsibilities of panna pramukhs (in-charges of electoral rolls), booth pramukhs (booth-level leaders), shakti kendra pramukhs (in-charges of clustered booths), and mandal adhyaksh (district presidents) were also outlined.

The BJP's core committee for Haryana held a separate meeting, where the venues for rallies and road shows by Prime Minister Modi and Amit Shah were identified. The meeting also finalized the tour plans of star campaigners for the upcoming election campaign. Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and Nayab Singh Saini, the deputy chief minister, were present at the meeting and briefed Nadda on the ongoing political developments in Haryana.

The state government has recently faced a crisis after three independent MLAs extended their support to the Congress party, potentially putting the ruling BJP-led coalition in a minority. However, Chief Minister Saini has asserted that his government is not under any threat. This issue was likely discussed with JP Nadda during his visit.
