The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is bringing out its biggest stars to campaign in Haryana for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The party has named a list of 40 prominent leaders who will tour the state to seek votes. This star campaigner team includes Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and Chief Ministers of BJP-ruled states.

Top Central Leaders to Lead Campaign

The BJP has gathered its senior-most leaders from the Central government for the Haryana campaign. Apart from PM Modi and HM Shah, others like Rajnath Singh, JP Nadda, Nitin Gadkari, Smriti Irani, Hema Malini, Bhupinder Yadav, and Anurag Thakur will be trying to woo voters.

Chief Ministers Roped In

To make the campaign even more powerful, the BJP has included Chief Ministers of some states where it is in power. Yogi Adityanath (Uttar Pradesh), Bhajan Lal Sharma (Rajasthan), Mohan Yadav (Madhya Pradesh), and Pushkar Singh Dhami (Uttarakhand) will campaign in Haryana.

Addressing Internal Discontentment

Interestingly, the BJP has also given importance to some state leaders who were unhappy with the party's decisions. Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, former Union Minister Anil Vij, and former MP Kuldeep Bishnoi are among the star campaigners. This move seems aimed at bringing together dissatisfied voices.

Other Key State Leaders Included

Apart from Khattar, Vij and Bishnoi, several other prominent Haryana leaders are in the star campaigners' list. These include Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, Sudha Yadav, Om Prakash Dhankar, Subhash Barala, Ram Bilas Sharma, Capt Abhimanyu, Ram Chander Jangra, Sunita Duggal and Delhi leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa.

Some State Ministers Missed Out

While some state ministers like Mool Chand Sharma, JP Dalal, Banwari Lal have been included as star campaigners, a few have been left out. Ministers Ranjit Singh, Kamal Gupta, Assem Goyal, Abhe Singh Yadav, Mahipal Dhanda and Sanjay Singh do not feature in the list.

The BJP's organizational leaders Satish Poonia, Surender Nagar and Phanindra Nath Sharma are also star campaigners. The BJP had won all 10 Lok Sabha seats in Haryana in 2019. With this massive star campaigner team, it aims to repeat that performance. A detailed campaigning schedule will be made for these leaders to travel across the state.
