On Thursday morning, CM Nayab Singh Saini attended the 22nd foundation day celebrations of the Surya Mandir in Karnal. During the event, the CM performed rituals and offered prayers for the well-being of humanity. He was warmly welcomed by the members of the Chhath Parv Seva Samiti, who presented him with a symbolic representation of the Sun God.

CM Saini Attacks Congress, Praises Modi Government:

Addressing the gathering, CM Saini highlighted the achievements of the Modi government while sharply criticising the opposition Congress party. He accused the Congress of merely issuing manifestos without fulfilling any of their promises. Saini alleged that corruption was rampant during the Congress regime, causing hardship for the people.

In contrast, the CM praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi, stating that he had fulfilled his promises with determination over the past ten years. Saini appealed to the people to re-elect the Modi government to continue the development of the nation and the state.

Corruption Allegations and Electoral Promises:

Saini lashed out at the Congress, claiming that their leaders reeked of corruption. He accused them of promoting corruption and making false promises, such as providing 24-hour electricity, which the BJP government eventually delivered.

Responding to a question about the closure of a portal initiated by the previous Congress government, the CM reiterated his allegations of corruption against Congress leaders. He stated that they spoke of giving birth to corruption, while the BJP government had implemented various welfare schemes and services accessible to citizens online or from the comfort of their homes.

Developmental Initiatives and Welfare Schemes:

CM Saini highlighted the BJP government's focus on system reform and providing benefits of central and state schemes to the last person. He expressed confidence that the development witnessed in the country and state over the past ten years would continue unabated under the BJP government.

Saini praised Prime Minister Modi for implementing numerous welfare schemes for the poor, farmers, employees, and women, benefiting every individual. He also highlighted the employment opportunities provided to the youth and the historic decisions taken by the PM, which have accelerated the nation's progress.

The CM expressed confidence in the public's trust in PM Modi's leadership, asserting that he would be re-elected as the Prime Minister. Saini urged the people to vote for the BJP in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections on May 25, symbolically pressing the 'kamal' (lotus) button twice – once to send a BJP MP to Delhi and another for the state Assembly.
