Khattar's Campaign Trail in Kaithal

Former Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar hit the campaign trail in Kaithal, intensifying his efforts to garner support for BJP candidate Naveen Jindal, who is contesting the Kurukshetra Lok Sabha seat. Addressing a well-attended gathering at Ramlila ground in Kaithal city, Khattar sought votes for Jindal based on the achievements of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led Union Government and the BJP's tenure in the state over the past nine-and-a-half years.

Attacking the Opposition and Emphasising BJP's Priorities

Khattar launched a scathing attack on the Congress party, accusing them of remaining silent on issues of national interest. He emphasised that the BJP had taken action on these matters, with national security and issues affecting common people being top priorities for the party. Khattar alleged that the Congress had accomplished nothing during its 60-year regime and criticised Rahul Gandhi for rehashing the same poverty eradication slogan previously used by his grandmother, Indira Gandhi.

Promises and Predictions of Victory

Khattar urged the people to vote for Jindal to strengthen PM Modi's hands, asserting that the BJP would secure victory on all 100 Lok Sabha seats and in the Karnal Assembly by-election. He declared, "All 10 BJP candidates contesting the Lok Sabha seats, along with CM Nayab Singh Saini, contesting the Karnal Assembly by-election, will emerge victorious." Jindal, on his part, commended the BJP's efforts in bringing transparency in government jobs and emphasized the party's focus on development under Modi's leadership.
