In a strong attack against former CM Manohar Lal Khattar, Digvijay Chautala, the national general secretary of the Jannayak Janata Party (JJP), left no stone unturned in criticising the BJP leader. During his visit to Bhiwani, Chautala made strong remarks as he branded Khattar as the "weakest candidate" contesting from the Karnal constituency, claiming that the former CM lacks connection with the public.
Chautala's Bold Prediction
"Manohar Lal is the weakest candidate from Karnal. He is not connected with the people. In the coming times, no one will even make him a municipal councillor. He will roam alone in his car," Chautala said, painting a grim picture of Khattar's political future.
Congress' Opportunity in Karnal
Chautala's remarks did not stop there. He went on to assert that if the Congress party fields a strong candidate against Khattar in Karnal, the former CM's defeat would be certain. Addressing the issue of alleged EVM tampering, Chautala defended the Congress party's stance, saying, "Where there's smoke, there's fire. The Congress is right to raise questions about EVMs."
Targeting Rivals Within and Outside
Digvijay Chautala did not hold back in his criticism of the BJP's position in Haryana, describing the party's condition as bad. He claimed that Manohar Lal Khattar himself would face defeat in the elections. The JJP leader also took a swipe at his uncle, Abhay Chautala, accusing him of making wrong statements and claiming that he lacks a public support base.
Dismissed Shruti Choudhry as a "tourist" and labelled Dharamvir Singh as a "rejected" candidate
Chautala dismissed Congress leader Shruti Choudhry as a mere "tourist" and labelled Dharamvir Singh as a "rejected" candidate. He claimed that Singh had previously stated he did not want to contest elections because he could not get work done for the people. Chautala expressed confidence in the JJP's candidate for the Bhiwani-Mahendragarh Lok Sabha seat, Rao Bahadur Singh, describing him as a strong contender who could upset the existing equations in the constituency.
As the war of words intensifies in Haryana's political arena, Digvijay Chautala's remarks have set the stage for a heated battle in the upcoming elections. The JJP leader left no doubt about his party's intent to dethrone the BJP's Manohar Lal Khattar, branding him as the "weakest candidate" and predicting a tough road ahead for the former Haryana Chief Minister.
