During an election campaign in the Bahadurgarh area of Jhajjar district, BJP's national secretary Om Prakash Dhankar sought votes for the party's Rohtak candidate Dr. Arvind Sharma. He also took a jibe at the Congress party, claiming that no one was willing to contest on the party's ticket in Haryana, leading to delays in announcing their candidates for the Lok Sabha polls.

"Congress leaders in the state are scared because of BJP's strong support base. That's why they are pushing each other to contest the elections," Dhankar said. "Even senior Congress leaders are not interested in contesting, running away from the electoral battle. This is why the list of Congress candidates is not being released, and nobody is listening to the party's high command."

Dhankar also criticised former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda, recalling the 2019 Lok Sabha elections when Hooda claimed he would form the Congress government in the state by winning the Rohtak seat. "On the day of the poll results, Hooda and his son realised that they had lost the people's trust," he said, adding that people still remembered the corruption during the Congress regime.

Dhankar said that the people of Haryana have decided to ensure the victory of BJP candidates on all 10 Lok Sabha seats, striking a blow against the dynastic politics practised by the Congress party. "The previous Congress government promoted a system of bribery for government jobs, while the BJP government provided jobs based on merit without any bribes or expenses," he pointed out.

The BJP leader expressed confidence in Dr. Arvind Sharma's candidature and urged the people of Rohtak to vote for him. He emphasised that the BJP's commitment to development and good governance would continue if the party was given another opportunity to serve the nation.
