In an election rally in Palwal, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has asserted that the return of the Modi government at the Centre is imminent, as the BJP has ensured justice and development in the state during its 10-year rule. Saini's remarks come as the state gears up for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Addressing his first campaign event, the Chief Minister launched a scathing attack on the Congress, accusing the party of being responsible for numerous injustices during its 55-year rule. Saini, who frequently invoked the name of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, credited the BJP's rise to the accomplishments of the Modi government.

Dismissing the "guarantees" promised by the Congress in its manifesto, Saini claimed that the people of Haryana now only believe in the "guarantee" offered by the BJP. He highlighted the unprecedented development projects and the financial assistance provided to farmers, including the Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme and compensation for crop losses, as evidence of the Modi government's commitment to the state.

Without directly addressing the recent incidents of violence and protests against some BJP candidates, Saini issued a veiled warning to those involved in such activities. He cautioned that the government would not tolerate such behaviour and urged the miscreants to mend their ways before the administration is forced to take action.

The rally was also addressed by Krishan Pal Gurjar, the BJP's candidate from the Faridabad Lok Sabha constituency. Saini's rousing speech and the party's display of confidence in its electoral prospects have set the stage for a high-stakes battle in Haryana, as the state seeks to contribute to the BJP's national victory.
