Elvish Yadav, YouTuber and winner of Bigg Boss OTT 2, secured bail from a Gurugram court in an assault case involving fellow YouTuber Sagar Thakur, known as Maxtern. Following a compromise agreement, both parties provided affidavits, leading to the granting of bail. Yadav's counsel confirmed the development, stating that all sections imposed in the case were bailable.

After being granted bail by a Gautam Budh Nagar court in a suspected drug case, Yadav faced an assault case in Gurugram. Advocate Himanshu Yadav, representing Elvish, stated that the court considered the bail application and granted bail, requiring him to furnish a bail bond.

The Gurugram police filed an application seeking a production warrant for Yadav, who was detained in Noida jail. Despite initially not being informed by the Noida police, the Gurugram police team later took him into custody and interrogated him for three hours. During the interrogation, Yadav disclosed the names of his accomplices involved in the assault case with Thakur.

Inspector Rajender Kumar, SHO of Sector 53 police station, confirmed that the court granted bail to Yadav after a 14-day judicial custody was initially proposed. Notices will be issued to the other accused to join the investigation. The assault incident occurred on March 8, when Yadav was seen physically assaulting Thakur in a video. Following Thakur's complaint, an FIR was lodged against Yadav and others at the Sector 53 police station.

The resolution of the case comes as both parties reached a compromise and provided affidavits, leading to the court's decision to grant bail. Yadav's counsel emphasised that all sections imposed in the case were bailable, reinforcing the peaceful resolution achieved through legal procedures.

Yadav's release from custody marks a significant development in the ongoing legal proceedings, with the investigation set to continue as other accused individuals are summoned to participate.
