New Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini's Traditional Entry: Hawan Marks Change in CM House

In a symbolic transfer of power, Haryana's Chief Ministerial office saw a spiritual beginning as Nayab Singh Saini stepped into the CM House amongst the sacred flames of a hawan. Former CM Manohar Lal Khattar's presence added respect to the occasion, showing continuity and blessings for the new leader. 

The event happened at the Chief Minister's residence, Sant Kabir Kutir, in Chandigarh. Nayab Singh Saini, with his family, took part in the hawan, seeking divine blessings for the prosperity of all Haryanvis. 

This significant ritual not only marked Nayab Singh Saini's formal assumption of office but also highlighted the adherence to age-old Indian traditions. Former CM Khattar's presence emphasised a smooth transition within the BJP leadership in Haryana. 

Manohar Lal Khattar, resigning as CM, handed over the responsibility to Nayab Singh Saini in line with BJP's plan. Stressing governance continuity, Khattar assured Karnal residents of their interests under the new leadership. This transition reflects Khattar's vision and mentorship, grooming Nayab Singh Saini for leadership. Nayab's elevation speaks to Khattar's trust and strategic planning within the party.

Nayab Singh Saini officially became Haryana's Chief Minister. Alongside, five other ministers, including Kanwar Pal, Mool Chand Sharma, Jai Parkash Dalal, Banwari Lal, and independent MLA Ranjit Singh Chautala, took oath, marking a new era in Haryana's governance. 

Nayab Singh Saini's rise to the CM's chair is a significant milestone in his political journey, starting in 1996. His journey from grassroots work to the highest office underscores BJP's commitment to nurturing leadership from within.
