Haryana Declares 'Jai Jai Jai Haryana' as Official State Song After Extensive Selection Process

Bollywood Singer Kailash Kher to Record State Anthem, Pending Final Approval

In a momentous decision during the Winter Session of the Legislative Assembly, Haryana proudly announced its official state song, "Jai Jai Jai Haryana!" after a meticulous selection process led by the State Song Selection Committee. Chaired by Speaker Gian Chand Gupta, the committee, formed under MLA Laxman Singh Yadav, undertook the task of choosing a song that encapsulated the essence of Haryana's rich history, cultural heritage, and geographical diversity. 

Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar presented drafts of three songs, which were thoroughly examined and debated by the committee. After five exhaustive meetings, the committee finalised "Jai Jai Jai Haryana!" with extensive amendments made by Dr. Balkrishna Sharma, a notable resident of Panipat.

Laxman Singh Yadav emphasised that the committee meticulously considered various aspects, ensuring the song resonated with Haryanvi dialects and encapsulated the state's journey and achievements. The selection process aimed to reflect the pride and identity of Haryana. 

Furthermore, adding to the excitement, it was revealed that Bollywood sensation Kailash Kher would be recording the state anthem. CM Manohar Lal announced the decision, highlighting Kher's renowned vocal prowess. However, the final approval for the anthem's recording is pending, sparking anticipation among the residents.

The announcement of "Jai Jai Jai Haryana!" as the official state song marks a significant cultural milestone for Haryana, symbolising unity, pride, and celebration of its rich heritage. With Kailash Kher's potential involvement, the state anthem promises to resonate deeply with the people of Haryana, fostering a sense of belonging and identity.
