Former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda conducted a Jan Aakrosh rally in Jhajjar, expressing his determination to challenge the BJP-JJP alliance. Hooda sought public support, prompting rally attendees to pledge their allegiance. He emphasised the need for record-breaking victories, recalling his past electoral successes, and dismissed concerns over defeat.

Hooda criticised the BJP-led government's policies, particularly the Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP), dubbing it a "Pareshani Patra" (trouble certificate). He assured that his government, if elected, would address the concerns raised by the PPP. Hooda highlighted the deteriorating conditions in hospitals, schools, and government offices under the current administration.

The rally focused on issues such as unemployment, rising crime rates, and the alleged failure of the BJP government to undertake significant infrastructure projects like metro lines and new colleges. Hooda promised to tackle unemployment by creating two lakh permanent government jobs and criticised the BJP for doubling the cost of living for farmers instead of doubling their income, as promised. Taking a dig at the BJP's unfulfilled promises, Hooda stated that the current government had failed to bring development to Haryana, as evidenced by the absence of new metro lines or railway projects during their nine-year rule. He pledged to provide free electricity for 300 units and offer cylinders at a reduced rate of 500 rupees.

Chaudhary Udai Bhan, the Congress state President, joined Hooda in criticising the Khattar government, accusing it of drowning the state in debt. The rally featured prominent Congress leaders, including Kuldeep Vats, Geeta Bhukkal, Raghuvir Kadian, Rajendra Juneja, and former minister Ashok Arora.

In summary, Bhupinder Singh Hooda's Jan Aakrosh rally in Jhajjar showcased his determination to contest the upcoming elections and outlined his vision for addressing key issues facing Haryana. The rally focused on critiquing the BJP-JJP alliance's performance, making promises to address unemployment, farmer concerns, and providing a contrasting vision for the state's development.
