Celebrations Mark Inauguration of Lord Rama's Idol in Karnal Temple

The fervour surrounding the consecration of Lord Rama's idol in Ayodhya's Ram Mandir resonates across the nation. Karnal, known as the city of Karna, also witnessed the infusion of divinity as its temples embraced a Ramayana ambiance. Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar participated in the morning ceremony at Karneshwar Mahadev Mandir, where the live broadcast of Lord Rama's idol consecration in Ayodhya captivated the audience.

In his address, CM Khattar extended wishes on the sacred occasion and reflected on the enduring struggle for the construction of the Ram Mandir. He recounted the challenges faced, emphasizing that despite adversities, the fulfillment of this dream has brought immense joy. He acknowledged the historic significance of the day, marking the dawn of a new era.

CM Khattar mentioned the commitment of the opposition, which, in the past, had promised to build the temple at the same spot but refrained from specifying a date. He contrasted those assurances with the resolute action taken today, as descendants of Lord Rama's lineage have overseen the completion of the temple. The CM expressed his joy at witnessing the celebrations and highlighted the momentous shift from the struggles of the past to the present-day festivities.

Reflecting on the hardships endured during the temple's construction, CM Khattar drew attention to the contrast between the past, when helicopters fired shots, and the present, where flower petals are showered in celebration. He encouraged everyone to leave the past behind and embrace a future filled with the essence of Lord Rama. The CM concluded by extending his blessings for the ongoing journey, emphasizing the vision of a Ram Rajya – a just and righteous rule.

The ceremony at Karneshwar Mahadev Mandir exuded spiritual energy, with the temple adorned with flowers and a havan conducted in the morning. As the day unfolded, the recitation of Sundarkand commenced, leading to the symbolic placement of a silver urn atop the temple by CM Khattar. The event witnessed widespread participation, encapsulating the spirit of devotion and jubilation in the wake of Ayodhya's historic milestone.
