In a bid to strengthen the Congress foothold in Haryana, Rajya Sabha member Deepender Singh Hooda visited Rohtak on Tuesday to launch the "Ghar-Ghar Congress Abhiyan" (Congress in Every Home Campaign). Commencing the campaign at Shori Market, Asia's largest cloth market, Hooda engaged with shopkeepers and locals to bolster the Congress presence in Rohtak.
Over the past few days, Deepender Singh Hooda has been actively involved in a series of campaigns, meeting shopkeepers across Rohtak city. Prior to the launch at Shori Market, Hooda had been in Ayodhya on Monday, where he participated in the worship and rituals for Ram Lala, seeking blessings for the upcoming political endeavours.
Returning from Ayodhya, Hooda emphasized the importance of connecting with people and fortifying the Congress party in Rohtak. The Ghar-Ghar Congress Abhiyan, initiated in the bustling Shori Market, signifies an extension of his recent endeavours to mobilize Congress workers in the region. The campaign aims to foster support and strengthen Congress's position in preparation for the upcoming 2024 elections.
Deepender Singh Hooda, known for his proactive approach, had previously conducted meetings with Congress workers in Rohtak, urging them to focus on strengthening individual booths for the upcoming electoral battle.
As the political landscape in Haryana evolves, Hooda's strategic efforts aim to revitalize the Congress party's presence, setting the stage for an active political engagement in the region.
