Haryanvi Actress Anjali Raghav sought police intervention after the controversy surrounding Bhojpuri actor-singer Pawan Singh's inappropriate behavior with the Haryanvi actress during a performance in Lucknow on August 29 turned into a systematic online harassment campaign.

With a list of more than 20 Instagram accounts allegedly disseminating pornographic material, phony videos, and defamatory content directed at her reputation, Raghav has submitted a thorough complaint to Delhi Police's cyber cell. According to the actress, these accounts post 15–20 videos every day, some of which feature her face morphed onto offensive images.

"Wearing short clothes doesn't give anyone permission to touch inappropriately," Raghav emphasized, rejecting victim-blaming narratives from some Bhojpuri models who criticized her for "acting like a saint" despite her fashion choices.

The harassment intensified after Singh's public Instagram apology, which Raghav alleges was merely a smokescreen. "He apologized publicly but deployed trolls against me privately," she stated, describing the psychological impact of constant online abuse. Among the accused is Santosh Renu Yadav, allegedly affiliated with Lalu Prasad Yadav's party, whom Raghav claims is spreading false information about her family members. She intends to bring defamation lawsuits against certain leaders of the harassment campaign.

The actress plans to take the issue to the Women's Commission and lodge an FIR, stressing that this is a case going beyond entertainment industry conflicts to become an issue of women's honor and safety online.

This attack spotlights the larger problem of coordinated harassment on the internet against women who take a stand against abuse.
