Haryana's Chief Minister, Manohar Lal, orchestrated a spiritual evening featuring renowned singer Kanhaiya Mittal, offering devotional hymns in preparation for the consecration ceremony at Lord Rama's temple in Ayodhya. The event, attended by dignitaries including Punjab Governor Banwarilal Purohit, unfolded on the auspicious occasion of Makar Sankranti.

Significantly, CM Manohar Lal extended a special invitation to the underprivileged children of the Antyodaya Parivar for the Ayodhya pilgrimage. This gesture reflects a commitment to inclusivity and socio-economic considerations.

As part of the spiritual journey, Chief Minister Manohar Lal, along with leaders from the Vishva Hindu Parishad, outlined plans to escort nearly two thousand devotees from Haryana to Ayodhya. The selection criteria for these fortunate pilgrims are under consideration, engaging stakeholders from the Vishva Hindu Parishad, RSS, and government officials.

To facilitate the pilgrimage, a special train and Volvo buses will transport devotees from New Delhi to Ayodhya. This initiative, announced by the Haryana government in response to the CM's proclamation, aims to extend the pilgrimage opportunity to citizens across various districts.

Transport Minister Moolchand Sharma disclosed that each district would organise Volvo buses, offering free transportation for senior citizens. Further emphasising the government's commitment, he detailed a preliminary plan wherein 200-300 people from each of the 22 districts would be selected for the spiritual journey to Ayodhya.

The pilgrimage, coinciding with the festive fervour of Makar Sankranti, aligns with the broader mission of fostering cultural and spiritual unity. CM Manohar Lal's leadership in organising this soulful event showcases a dedication to religious harmony and inclusivity in Haryana.
