The admission process for private schools under Haryana's Chirag scheme has begun, with March 31 set as the last date for applications. This year, the scheme has been expanded to benefit students from classes 5 to 12, instead of the previous class 3 limit.
Complete information about class-wise available seats in all participating schools is provided on the department's website and portal. District Elementary Education Officers will appoint departmental nominees to ensure the admission process remains transparent and runs smoothly.
Block Education Officers, principals of government schools, headmasters, PGTs, or teachers will be designated as nominees to oversee the process.
Eligibility Conditions
Several conditions apply for students seeking admission under this scheme:

5. It is mandatory to obtain a receipt from the schools where applications are submitted.
6. Successful students must obtain a School Leaving Certificate (SLC) from their previous government school.
7. Family ID is mandatory for admission.
Schools must update the data of admitted students on the MIS portal and inform the department within 15 days of the final admission date.
