Deepika Padukone recently opened up about her personal struggle with depression while living alone in Mumbai, during the second episode of Pareksha Pe Chacha 2025. She credited her mother for recognizing the signs and seeking professional help, emphasizing the importance of expressing emotions rather than suppressing them.

Deepika also shared valuable advice with students on managing exam stress, highlighting key techniques such as:

  • Prioritizing quality sleep, which she referred to as a "superpower".
  • Regular exercise to help reduce stress and anxiety.
  • Meditation to calm the mind and focus on the present.
  • Adequate exposure to sunlight and fresh air to boost mood and energy levels. 

She encouraged students to identify their problems early on and discuss them with trusted individuals and family members. Deepika also advised students to focus on individual development rather than comparing themselves to their peers. 

The session also featured an interactive segment where students wrote down their strengths, emphasizing the importance of self-awareness and working on weaknesses while building on existing strengths.

A video showcasing Deepika's Live Love Laugh Foundation's work in providing free mental health services across India was also presented, demonstrating her commitment to mental health advocacy beyond the entertainment industry.
