PM Modi Praises Haryana's Job Model in Parliament

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, addressing the Lok Sabha during the Motion of Thanks debate on the President's address, highlighted Haryana as a model state for efficient governance. He emphasized how the state government fulfilled its promise of providing jobs without any corruption or recommendation letters ("bina parchi, bina kharchi"), immediately after coming to power. 

Historic Political Achievement

PM Modi also emphasised how the effective governance by BJP in Haryana led to its consecutive third term in the state leaving a significant mark in the history of Haryana's political landscape. The Government's commitment to delivering on its promises and maintaining public trust.

Criticism of Opposition's Approach

The Prime Minister contrasted Haryana's success with other political parties' tactics, criticizing them for making empty promises to youth during elections. He stated that while some parties only make promises, BJP's governance model in Haryana demonstrates actual delivery of commitments.  

The remarks came during the ongoing Budget Session of Parliament, which began on January 31, 2025, following the President's joint address to both houses. Modi's speech addressed various aspects of governance while specifically highlighting Haryana's achievements in employment generation.
