Minister Anil Vij Addresses Public Grievances, Orders Investigations into Multiple Cases

In a notable development on Sunday, Haryana's Minister of Home and Health, Anil Vij, took the initiative to personally address public grievances at his residence in Ambala. Following the hearing of various complaints, Minister Vij issued directives to the concerned authorities for prompt actions and investigations.

One of the cases brought to Minister Vij's attention involved a senior resident of Karnal making false accusations against his daughter-in-law, alleging harassment with an intent to frame her in a harassment case. A woman from Sonipat had previously accused her in-laws of subjecting her to physical abuse. Minister Anil Vij promptly instructed the Sonipat Police Commissioner to initiate necessary actions.

In another distressing incident, a youth from Kaithal narrated a harrowing tale of his brother being misled by an agent who promised to send him to Portugal but instead sent him to the forests of Belarus. The victim's brother had left for Portugal from the New Delhi airport, but the agent diverted him to Belarus. Minister Vij, expressing concern over the matter, instructed the formation of a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe into the alleged fraudulent activities of the agent.

Highlighting the gravity of the situation, the complainant revealed that the agent had assured them of transporting his brother safely through roadways to Portugal. However, a sudden phone call from his stranded brother disclosed that he was in the jungles of Belarus, and plans were afoot to transport him to Portugal from there. Distraught and clueless about his brother's current whereabouts, the complainant sought Minister Vij's intervention, prompting the formation of the SIT to look into the matter.

Furthermore, cases involving alleged land encroachments, fake cases of assault, and a plea from an ITBP personnel in Palwal were also presented to Minister Anil Vij. Expressing his commitment to ensuring justice, Minister Vij issued stern instructions to the respective officials, emphasising the need for thorough investigations and appropriate actions.

The move by Minister Anil Vij to personally attend to public grievances reflects a proactive approach towards addressing citizens' concerns and maintaining accountability within the administration.
