The Congress party in Haryana faces fresh internal turmoil as former MLA Shamsher Gogi has openly challenged the party's state leadership, exposing growing dissent within the organization. Gogi, who recently lost in the assembly elections, has raised serious concerns about the party's direction and leadership choices.

In a bold move, Gogi criticized the recently formed eight-member committee, pointing out that many of its members are themselves defeated candidates. He suggested that experienced leaders like Chaudhary Birendra Singh and Captain Ajay Yadav should have been included instead. The former legislator went further to allege that party in-charge Deepak Babaria's actions aligned with BJP's interests.

The controversy deepened when BJP member Kiran Chaudhary, who recently switched parties, attacked former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda and his MP son Deepender Hooda. She accused them of promoting regionalism and corruption, claiming that voters have shown them their true standing.

Gogi also expressed concerns about the delay in appointing the Leader of Opposition, suggesting it reflects the party's internal power struggles. He emphasized that Congress has lost three consecutive elections under the current leadership structure, indicating a need for change.

The former MLA offered constructive suggestions, stating that while choosing the Leader of Opposition is the high command's prerogative, the selected person should have the right intentions. He also stressed that the new state president should focus on strengthening the party rather than appeasing specific individuals.

Regarding the newly formed committee, Gogi acknowledged Karan Dalal's personal qualities while questioning the effectiveness of a committee comprised of defeated candidates. He suggested that this composition might prevent an honest assessment of the party's challenges.
