Strong Show of Support at Hooda's Residence

Following the release of exit polls predicting a Congress majority in the Haryana Assembly elections, former CM Bhupinder Singh Hooda's Rohtak residence has become a hub of political activity. Political leaders, prominent citizens, and enthusiastic youngsters flocked to meet Hooda, with many taking selfies with the veteran leader. A delegation from the Rice Millers and Dealers Association also met Hooda to discuss their concerns, receiving assurances of prompt attention under a Congress government.

Immediate Action Plan for Haryana's Revival

Hooda emphasized that the Congress would waste no time in implementing its election manifesto upon forming the government. "The people of Haryana had already decided to remove the BJP from power even before the exit polls confirmed it," he stated. The former CM outlined his vision for restoring Haryana's position as a leading state in various development parameters, reminiscing about its previous achievements under Congress rule.

Criticism of BJP's Decade-Long Governance

In a detailed assessment of the BJP's tenure, Hooda highlighted what he described as a significant decline in Haryana's standing across multiple sectors. He pointed out that while Haryana previously led in per capita income, investment, employment generation, and support for sports persons and farmers, the state now faces serious challenges in law and order, unemployment, drug abuse, and inflation.

Focus on Law and Order

Taking a strong stance on crime and drug-related issues, Hooda promised decisive action against criminal elements. "The current situation, where criminals operate fearlessly, suggests an absence of effective governance. This will change dramatically under Congress rule," he assured, emphasizing zero tolerance for crime and drug trafficking in the state.

Speaking about the recently concluded elections, Hooda expressed gratitude to Haryana's voters and noted the peaceful conduct of polling, praising citizens for exercising their franchise wisely.
