“BJP will form Government and Congress will blame it on EVM”: CM Saini

In a bold stance against prevailing exit poll predictions, Haryana's Caretaker Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has expressed unwavering confidence in the BJP achieving a historic third consecutive term in the state. Speaking to reporters ahead of the October 8 vote counting, Saini dismissed surveys showing a Congress majority, instead highlighting his party's decade-long governance achievements.

"The people will give their answer on October 8," Saini declared, adding a pointed prediction that "the Congress will inevitably blame EVMs" for the results. This statement reflects the growing tension between exit poll projections and the BJP's ground-level assessment of their electoral prospects.

The Caretaker CM emphasized the significant impact of the 'double engine' government's welfare initiatives over the past ten years. According to Saini, these programs have created substantial positive changes across all societal segments, particularly benefiting the most economically disadvantaged groups.

While acknowledging tough competition in certain constituencies, Saini remained steadfast in his prediction of a BJP victory. He emphasized the systematic improvements in Haryana residents' quality of life under BJP governance, attributing this to coordinated efforts between state and central leadership.

The BJP's confidence stands in stark contrast to multiple exit polls suggesting a comfortable Congress majority, potentially ending the saffron party's decade-long rule in Haryana. However, Saini's administration points to tangible developmental achievements and welfare schemes as their strongest electoral assets.

"Our government's pro-people decisions have transformed society and improved ease of living for Haryana's residents," Saini stated, outlining various initiatives implemented during their tenure. He particularly emphasized the synergy between state and central governments in executing welfare programs.

The political atmosphere in Haryana remains charged as the state approaches the crucial vote counting day, with both major parties presenting contrasting narratives about the expected outcomes.
