Constitutional Safeguards Under Threat

Gandhi emphasized the crucial need to bring Congress back to power, claiming it was essential to protect the Constitution. He accused the BJP of attempting to dismantle the reservation system for Dalits and backward classes, framing the upcoming election as a battle to preserve constitutional rights.

Unemployment Crisis Takes Center Stage

In a direct attack on the BJP's governance, Gandhi highlighted how Haryana has become a hub of unemployment under their rule. He pointed to specific instances of development projects being moved to other states, including the planned rail coach factory, which he claimed was redirected away from Haryana.

Warm Welcome Across Districts

The Congress leader received an enthusiastic response during his roadshow, with locals presenting him with traditional 'pagri' and showering flowers along the route. In a touching moment, farmers from Madina village presented Gandhi with rice harvested from paddy he had helped sow months earlier. During his visit, he also connected with locals by enjoying traditional food and addressing their concerns about safety and security.

The extensive campaign tour covered multiple segments of Sonepat, including Kharkhoda, Sonepat, Ganaur, and Gohana, demonstrating the Congress party's determination to strengthen its presence in the state ahead of the upcoming elections.
