In a show of confidence ahead of the upcoming Haryana state elections, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini addressed a Jan Ashirwad Rally in Ganaur on Thursday. The event, held in support of BJP candidate Devender Kaushik, saw CM Saini making bold claims about his party's prospects and criticizing the opposition.
CM Saini declared that the people of Haryana had already made up their minds to give the BJP a third term in power. He urged citizens to participate in what he called the "festival of democracy" on October 5, the day of the election.
During his speech, Saini made a personal appeal to the voters of Ganaur, asking them to elect Devender Kaushik. He promised to take care of their needs, stating, "Your brother (Nayab Saini) is there to take care of your work. Development of Ganaur is my priority and duty."
The Chief Minister didn't hold back in his criticism of the Congress party. He described their manifesto as "a bundle of lies" and accused them of creating false illusions about winning the election. Saini expressed confidence that the people of Haryana were now aware of these alleged deceptions.
In a notable claim, CM Saini stated that his 56 days of work as Chief Minister would overshadow the Congress government's achievements over ten years. He mentioned that while he had prepared a 100-day agenda, he only got 56 days to work due to the election schedule.
Saini also took a swipe at former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda, contrasting their approaches to governance. He claimed that while the Hooda government had only announced plans to give 100 square yard plots, the BJP government had not only provided the plots but also ensured possession.
As the election draws near, CM Saini's rally in Ganaur highlights the intensifying political battle in Haryana. With both the BJP and Congress making strong claims, the coming weeks are likely to see more heated exchanges and promises as they vie for the voters' support.
