At a recent rally in Ambala City, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini strongly criticized the Congress party. He accused them of misleading voters through their 'Haryana Mange Hisaab' (Haryana Demands Accountability) campaign.
Saini challenged former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda and his son Deepender Hooda. He said they're asking the BJP government for answers but won't talk about their own time in power. "I've asked Congress leaders some questions, but they're not answering," Saini said. "We give accounts to the people of Haryana every year."
The Chief Minister defended his party's record. He said many people, including young people and farmers, have benefited from BJP policies. Saini then turned the tables on the Congress, asking Hooda to explain his 10-year rule. He wanted to know why there was so much corruption then, and why poor people, Dalits, and farmers suffered.
Saini praised his government's work, saying they've worked hard for all parts of society. He listed some achievements:
- Giving jobs based on merit
- Promising to buy 24 crops at minimum support prices
- Giving plots of land to poor people
The Chief Minister promised that after election rules are lifted, more poor people will get land plots. He said the BJP has helped all groups equally in its 10 years of power.
Saini asked people to vote for the BJP in the upcoming state elections. He promised that if BJP wins again, they'll keep developing Haryana quickly under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership. At the rally, a businessman named Balbir Singh joined the BJP. He used to be with another party called Shiromani Akali Dal.
Aseem Goel, a local BJP leader, also spoke. He talked about the good things done in Ambala City over the last 10 years. Many other BJP leaders were at the event too.
This rally shows the growing political tension in Haryana. With elections coming up, both BJP and Congress are trying to win voter support. The BJP is focusing on its record of development and support for farmers. Meanwhile, the Congress is questioning the current government's actions.
As the election gets closer, we can expect more heated debates between these parties. Voters will have to decide whose vision for Haryana they trust more.
