Ranjit Singh Chautala Determined to Contest Rania Seat, With or Without BJP Ticket

Power Minister and Former Rania MLA Ranjit Singh Chautala Determined to Contest Seat, Willing to Run as Independent if BJP Denies Ticket.

Ranjit Singh Chautala, the Power Minister and former MLA of Rania, has made it clear that he is determined to contest the upcoming election from the Rania constituency, regardless of whether he gets the BJP ticket or not. Chautala has been lobbying for the BJP's nomination, but he stated that if the party does not field him, he would still run as an independent candidate.

Chautala, who has been a supporter of the BJP in the past, reiterated his stance on Tuesday. When asked whether he would consider joining the Congress or aligning with former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda, Chautala hinted that politics is ever-changing and did not rule out any possibilities.

However, Chautala clarified that he is not considering leaving the BJP, as the party has supported him in the past. At the same time, he expressed displeasure with the BJP leaders for visiting the residence of Gopal Kanda, the leader of the Haryana Lokhit Party, and suggesting a potential alliance.

The Rania constituency is set to be a crucial battleground in the upcoming Haryana state assembly elections, and Chautala's decision to contest, regardless of his party affiliation, could have significant implications for the political landscape in the region.
