Kiran Chaudhary Nominated for Rajya Sabha Bypoll in Haryana

Former Congress Leader Kiran Chaudhary Joins BJP, Files Nomination for Rajya Sabha Bypoll in Haryana with Chief Minister's Backing.

Backed by BJP Kiran Chaudhary, a former Congress leader who recently joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), has filed her nomination papers for the Rajya Sabha bypoll in Haryana. The nomination was submitted in the presence of Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini and other cabinet colleagues. 

After filing the papers, Chaudhary expressed her gratitude to the BJP for placing their trust in her. She also stated that her workers who have joined the BJP will work to strengthen the party during the upcoming state assembly elections.

Chaudhary was accompanied by her daughter, Shruti, who is a former Member of Parliament from the Bhiwani-Mahendergarh constituency. Chief Minister Saini, while addressing the media, said that the party had chosen Chaudhary for the Rajya Sabha bypoll due to her vast experience, and they believe she will be an asset for the party in the upcoming assembly elections. 

With no other candidate in the fray, Chaudhary is expected to be declared elected on August 27, which is the last day for the withdrawal of nominations.
