Congress MP Deepender Hooda led a padyatra (foot march) in Badkhal Assembly constituency as part of the "Haryana Mange Hisaab" (Haryana Demands Accountability) campaign. Addressing a large gathering of Congress leaders and workers, Hooda sharply criticized the BJP government's performance in Haryana.

Infrastructure Woes and Development Concerns

Hooda highlighted several issues plaguing the Badkhal constituency, including problems with electricity, water supply, sewerage, and dilapidated roads. He accused the BJP government of neglecting these basic infrastructure needs. The MP also claimed that the Smart City project in Faridabad has derailed during the BJP's 10-year rule.

Rising Unemployment and Crime Rates

According to Hooda, Haryana's residents have been burdened with unemployment, crime, and corruption under the current government. He made a startling claim that Haryana has now surpassed Punjab in drug-related issues, pointing to a severe social problem in the state.

Hooda's statements paint a picture of a state in decline, contrasting sharply with the BJP's claims of progress. By emphasizing these issues, the Congress seems to be setting the stage for the upcoming electoral battle in Haryana, challenging the BJP's narrative of development and good governance.
