The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Haryana is gearing up for a major outreach program across the state. At a recent core committee meeting held in Kurukshetra, the party laid out plans to connect with voters in all 90 assembly constituencies within the next four days.
The meeting, chaired by BJP State President Mohan Lal Badoli, took place late at night following the "Mhara Haryana-Non Stop Haryana" rally. Key leaders including Chief Minister Nayab Saini, election in-charge Dharmendra Pradhan, and former CM Manohar Lal were present. One of the main decisions taken was to organize a Tiranga Yatra (flag march) in all 90 assembly areas. The BJP's youth wing will lead this initiative from August 11 to 14. This march aims to promote patriotism and national unity.
The party also decided to hold events in all constituencies on August 14 to remember the pain of India's partition. This is to honor the struggles faced during the country's independence. A significant development was the formation of a resolution committee. Om Prakash Dhankar, a national secretary of the BJP, will lead this committee. Its job will be to understand what people want and include these wishes in the party's election promises.
The BJP plans to send its senior leaders to all assembly areas as part of a "Jan Ashirwad Sampark Abhiyan" (public blessings contact campaign). Dr. Sudha Yadav, a member of the central parliamentary board, will organize these tours. State President Kaushal himself will visit Jind and Hisar on August 5 as part of this campaign. He also mentioned that the party will hold "Mhara Haryana-Non Stop Haryana" rallies in all 90 constituencies.
The core committee expressed satisfaction with the success of the recent rally in Thanesar. They also reviewed the feedback from other ongoing party programs. As reported by The Haryana Story, these initiatives show the BJP's determination to strengthen its position in Haryana. By reaching out to voters directly and seeking their input, the party hopes to create a strong connection with the public before the upcoming assembly elections.
The party's focus on patriotic themes like the Tiranga Yatra and remembering partition indicates an attempt to appeal to nationalist sentiments. At the same time, the formation of the resolution committee suggests a desire to address local issues and concerns. As the election season approaches, these activities are likely to intensify. The BJP's comprehensive strategy aims to cover all bases, from youth engagement to senior leadership involvement, in its bid to secure victory in the Haryana assembly polls.
