BJP Haryana State President Mohan Lal Badoli visited Karnal on Monday, where he addressed party workers and leaders at a workshop held at the BJP office Karn Kamal in Sector 9. The visit comes as political activities intensify in Haryana ahead of the upcoming assembly elections.
During the workshop, which was part of the party's 'Mandal Pravas Yojana' (Division Visit Plan), Badoli provided guidance to party members on strategies to secure victory in the forthcoming elections. The event saw participation from BJP leaders and workers from across the district.
Barauli took the opportunity to criticize opposition parties, particularly the Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). When asked about the large number of Congress leaders applying for election tickets, Badoli said, "We have capable workers at every booth who can contest elections. While the Congress party is divided into factions, the Bharatiya Janata Party works like a family." He emphasized that there is no factionalism within the BJP.
The state president also targeted what he called the "recruitment stopping gang," accusing them of trying to hinder job opportunities. He asserted that despite such attempts, the government remains focused on providing employment. Addressing criticisms about the recent central budget, Badoli explained that it was a national budget, not specific to Haryana. He said, "Opposition leaders perhaps don't understand that this budget was not for Haryana alone. It was for the entire country, and when a budget is made for the whole nation, individual states are not discussed separately."
On the issue of rising prices, Badoli highlighted the government's efforts to mitigate the impact on citizens. He mentioned the scheme to provide free rations to 80 crore people as an example of the government's commitment to supporting the population.
When questioned about the recent changes in district presidents of the party, Badoli described it as a routine process. He explained that those who were replaced have been given new responsibilities within the party. Badoli also took aim at Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, recalling his past statements. "Kejriwal used to say that if accusations were made against him, he would leave his position. But he's still sitting in his chair," Badoli remarked.
The BJP state president proudly stated that there have been no scams under the BJP government. He claimed that the party has successfully ensured that public funds are not misused and has maintained this record.
The visit by Mohan Lal Barauli to Karnal and his interactions with party workers indicate the BJP's increasing focus on preparation for the upcoming assembly elections in Haryana. By addressing various issues and criticizing opposition parties, Badoli aims to boost party morale and set the tone for the election campaign.
As political activities continue to gain momentum in Haryana, such visits and workshops are likely to become more frequent across parties. The BJP, as the ruling party in both the state and the center, appears to be leveraging its position and achievements to maintain its electoral advantage in the upcoming polls.
