The Congress party in Haryana got a big surprise yesterday when 30 important leaders from different political parties decided to join them. This happened at a special event where these leaders were warmly welcomed into the Congress family.

Among the new members, some big names stood out. Adarsh Pal Singh, who used to be a top organizer for the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Haryana, joined Congress. He's also the brother of a former top police officer and had gotten many votes when he ran for office before with another party.

Another important person who joined was Ajay Gautam. He used to be with the Jannayak Janta Party (JJP) and had run for office in Panchkula. Along with these two, many people who used to work for parties like the BJP, JJP, and INLD also switched to Congress. Some former village leaders and city council members joined too. The event was led by some big names in the Haryana Congress. Bhupinder Singh Hooda, who used to be the Chief Minister of Haryana, was there. So was Udai Bhan, who leads the Congress party in Haryana now, and Deepender Singh Hooda, who is a Member of Parliament.

Bhupinder Singh Hooda spoke at the event and said he was happy to see these new members. He promised they would be treated well in Congress. He also said that these new people joining would make the party stronger. Hooda thinks this will help Congress in its plan to win the next election and change who's in power in Haryana. Udai Bhan was also excited. He said that what happened in the recent big national election (the Lok Sabha election) was just the beginning. He believes Congress will do even better in the state election that's coming up.

This event is important because it shows that people from other parties think Congress might do well in the future. When politicians change parties like this, it often means they think their new party has a good chance of winning. For the Congress party, getting these new members is like getting a shot of energy. It makes them feel stronger and more ready to face the next election. They hope that with these new leaders, they'll have a better chance of winning and making changes in Haryana.
