The BJP is compiling a list of rebels who allegedly sided with opposition parties during the Lok Sabha elections in Haryana. As of now, the lists for the Sirsa and Sonipat constituencies have been prepared, which include the names of BJP MPs, MLAs, and local officials.

Rebel List for Sirsa and Sonipat Ready

The BJP candidate from Sirsa, Dr. Ashok Tanwar, has listed around 15 individuals, including an MLA, a municipal corporation officer, and an executive engineer, who allegedly favored opposition parties during the campaign. Meanwhile, in Sonipat, the BJP candidate Mohan Lal Badauli has named the sitting MP and an MLA on his list. He has also raised suspicions about some officials from the municipal corporation and the DC office.

15-17 Big Names on Each Seat

The lists prepared by Lok Sabha candidates in Haryana contain 15 to 17 prominent names. These lists include officials and employees from municipal corporations, DC offices, RTO offices, and the police department who allegedly assisted opposition parties.

Action Against Rebels After Counting

Sources within the Haryana government have indicated that a separate strategy has been devised to deal with employees and officials after the election results are announced on June 4. Transfer orders for officials and employees will be issued by June 10.

Rebel BJP leaders and MLAs will be sidelined, and disciplinary action will be taken against them. MLAs who worked for the Congress party may also face the risk of losing their tickets for the upcoming Assembly elections.

Issue Raised in Review Meeting

The issue of rebels and saboteurs within the BJP was raised during a review meeting held in Panchkula. Lok Sabha candidates lodged complaints with the Chief Minister and party leadership during this meeting.

Subsequently, CM Khattar instructed the candidates to prepare lists of rebel leaders and officials. Strong action is expected to be taken based on these lists after the election results are announced.
