During the BJP's 'Vijay Sankalp Rally' in Karnal, Union Home Minister Amit Shah unleashed a blistering attack on the opposition alliance, leaving no stone unturned in criticizing their lack of leadership and coherent policies. Addressing the gathering, Shah declared, "This alliance is arrogant, and it has neither a leader nor a policy."

Shah then took a jibe at the alliance's claim of having multiple prime ministerial candidates, questioning their qualifications and suitability for the top post. "When these alliance people are asked who their PM candidate is, they reply that they will make 5 PMs one by one," he said, adding, "Now, who will explain to Rahul Gandhi that this is not a bucket shop, but a country of 130 crore people."

Continuing his attack, Shah questioned whether leaders like Sharad Pawar, Mamata Banerjee, Stalin, Arvind Kejriwal, Uddhav Thackeray, or Rahul Gandhi could realistically become the Prime Minister. "Can Sharad Pawar, Mamata Banerjee, Stalin, Arvind Kejriwal, Uddhav Thackeray or Rahul Gandhi become the PM?" he asked rhetorically.

Shah's remarks came in the backdrop of the alliance's lack of consensus on a prime ministerial candidate, with various leaders staking their claims or expressing their ambitions for the top post.

Shifting gears, Shah reiterated India's stance on Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (PoK), asserting that it belongs to India and vowing to take it back. "I want to tell Rahul Baba that PoK is and will remain a part of India, and we will take it back," he declared.

Shah also took a swipe at the previous Congress-led government's response to the Pulwama attack, contrasting it with the Modi government's decisive action. "The Manmohan Singh government had sent just one paragraph to Pakistan after the Pulwama attack, while Prime Minister Narendra Modi carried out the Balakot airstrike and gave a befitting reply to Pakistan," he said.

In his address, Shah also lavished praise on the BJP's Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha candidates, lauding Manohar Lal for his efforts in developing Haryana over the past decade and commending Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini for his unwavering support for the people's causes.

Comparing development works, Shah claimed that while the Congress government had allocated only Rs 41,000 crore for Haryana's development, the Modi government had provided Rs 2,70,000 crore in the last 10 years. "The Congress and its alliance partners are trying to get votes by lying, but the people know that these people have neither a leader nor a policy," he asserted.

Shah also targeted the Congress on the issue of ex-servicemen, accusing the party of stalling the implementation of the 'One Rank, One Pension' scheme for 40 years before Prime Minister Modi resolved it. As the election campaign intensifies, Shah's scathing remarks have added fuel to the political firestorm, with the opposition alliance likely to hit back and defend their credentials and unity.
