Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has unleashed a scathing attack on the opposition parties. He accused the Congress and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) of misleading the public to gain political mileage. Dhami made these remarks while addressing a public meeting in Ambala City to support BJP candidate Banto Kataria. He launched a fiery assault on the opposition leaders, calling them a 'Mughalia gang.'
Targeting Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Dhami claimed he would go to jail again and lose his chief ministerial position. "Arvind Kejriwal will go to jail again and have to quit as Chief Minister. There are many contenders for CM in AAP, so their leaders are fighting for that," Dhami said while interacting with the media in Rohtak.
Dhami also took a dig at Rahul Gandhi, stating the 'prince of Congress' lacked confidence, which is why he couldn't contest from Amethi, while the BJP has grown stronger in the South. He alleged these parties are forming alliances to save their families and existence.
During his Haryana visit, the Uttarakhand CM targeted various opposition figures, including former Haryana CM Bhupendra Singh Hooda. "In Haryana too, the Congress suffers from dynasty politics. Last time, people defeated dynastic politics," Dhami said, accusing the opposition of spreading casteism and propaganda.
Dhami further claimed the opposition parties are deceiving the public by contesting in alliance in Haryana and Delhi while criticising each other in Punjab. "In Punjab, Congress and AAP leaders criticise each other aggressively, but contest jointly in Haryana and Delhi. They're trying to fool the public. This is a lethal mindset," he said.
Accusing Kejriwal of involvement in the liquor scam, Dhami stated the Delhi CM obtained interim bail and broke promises about not misusing public funds or engaging in corruption. Dhami criticised the opposition over the Ram Mandir issue, alleging some leaders skipped the consecration ceremony to avoid alienating a specific vote bank.
As the Lok Sabha elections approach, Dhami expressed confidence in the BJP's victory, stating that although the vote percentage might be lower, the BJP's margin of victory would be significant. Dhami's fiery speech highlights the intense political battle ahead, with accusations and counter-accusations expected to escalate as the election season approaches.
