Former Chief Ministers Manohar Lal Khattar and Bhupinder Singh Hooda engaged in a heated exchange of words during their visits to Bahadurgarh town in Jhajjar district. Both leaders took dig at each other's parties while claiming an upper hand in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Dismissing BJP's claim of winning over 400 seats, Hooda mocked, "BJP will be wiped out in the South and halved in the North." He accused the BJP government of failing the people and said, "Every section is eager to teach BJP candidates a lesson."

Hooda exuded confidence in the Congress, stating, "Surveys show BJP facing defeat on 8-9 seats while Congress' graph is rising. It will be clear that Congress is winning in Haryana." On the other hand, Khattar taunted the Congress for delaying the announcement of its candidates. "It's surprising that a national party couldn't release its list even after a long time," he said.

Khattar claimed an advantage for the BJP, saying, "We've been campaigning for over a month, and people perceive no other party's nominees are in the fray currently." The former CM asserted, "BJP will win all 10 seats again, with higher margins, as our governments worked for all sections, which people appreciate."
