The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Haryana is proactively addressing internal dissent and adjusting party dynamics ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, where winning all 10 seats is crucial. This strategic move involves reconciling with disgruntled leaders, who have been disenchanted with the party for the past 4-5 years.

Recently appointed BJP State President, Nayab Saini, unveiled a new team, including several leaders who had distanced themselves from the party since the 2019 Assembly elections. Prominent figures like former Industry Minister Vipul Goel, ex-Deputy Speaker Santosh Yadav, and former MLA Randhir Singh Kapdiwas have been given responsibilities within the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), the party's youth wing.

Most of the\se leaders had received BJP tickets in the 2019 Assembly elections but had been sidelined since. Notably, many have been vocal opponents of the current Member of Parliament from Gurugram, Rao Inderjit Singh. The return of these leaders to active roles signifies a political realignment, especially in Gurugram, challenging Rao Inderjit Singh's stronghold.

The move comes as a response to prevent any internal strife or damage during the elections. The BJP's focus is on transparency and a fair evaluation process to avoid resentment among leaders whose Annual Confidential Reports (ACRs) were allegedly incomplete. This meticulous approach seeks to address procedural hurdles and instil confidence in the promotion process.

The BJP's journey in Haryana has seen ups and downs, with the 2019 Assembly elections witnessing a factional divide over ticket distribution. The tussle resulted in the suspension of Randhir Singh Kapdiwas, who subsequently contested as an independent candidate from Rewari, causing a significant loss for BJP in the region.

Rao Inderjit Singh, a key leader in Southern Haryana, has been a vocal critic of many of the leaders now returning to active roles. The BJP's task is to reintegrate these leaders back into the party fold to ensure a united front for the Lok Sabha elections.

As the BJP prepares for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls, the challenge lies not only in winning all 10 seats in Haryana but also in managing internal dynamics and rivalries. The strategic adjustment of leaders aims to strengthen the party's position and minimize the risk of electoral losses due to internal dissent.
