A shocking incident came to light at Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University in Murthal, Sonipat, where a peon allegedly attempted to sexually assault a female student. Following her complaint, the police have registered a case under various sections of the law and started a detailed investigation.
According to the victim, the peon grabbed her hand and covered her mouth in the university bathroom while attempting to assault her. The student managed to escape and report the matter to the authorities.
The Murthal Police have taken the incident seriously and instantly started the investiga The University administration has assured that they will provide full cooperation in the investigation process and will also review campus security arrangements.
Such incidents raises serious concerns about the safety and security of students especially girl students. The University need to ensure effectiveness of security protocols in reputed educational institutions.
