Gurugram police have arrested the final accused in a disturbing harassment case where club bouncers threatened a woman with rape for refusing their advances. The arrested individual, identified as Prakash from Delhi's Munirka area, was the last of six bouncers involved in the June 8 incident.

The case began when a woman filed a complaint at DLF police station, describing how Miraj Club bouncers harassed her while she was returning home from work. The accused allegedly stared at her inappropriately and made vulgar comments, specifically saying "come to the hotel, and if you don't come, we'll rape you."

When the victim reported the incident to her club owner at Human Night Club, her supervisor attempted to resolve the matter by speaking with Miraj Club's management. But when the bouncers threatened to kill her supervisor and physically attacked him, things became more heated.

After the woman's complaint, police first detained four suspects, but two others—including Prakash—were still at large. Prakash was apprehended after the Sector 40 crime branch learned of his presence in Delhi.

The arrested bouncers include Anil, Rohit, Eklavya, Prakash, and four others whose names haven't been disclosed. The case brings to light the grave problem of harassment in the workplace and the precarious position of women in public areas, especially in entertainment districts.

To make sure every facet of the harassment and assault case is carefully considered, police are still looking into the situation. Law enforcement's commitment to combating crimes against women is demonstrated by the prompt action.
