In the Narela neighborhood of Delhi, a startling crime that has come to light where a father killed his own 10-year-old son and absconded. The local community is in shock over the incident, and police are pursuing the suspect in a manhunt.

When Komal, the child's mother, went to the police on Tuesday, they learned of the horrifying crime. She told officers that her husband Narender had called her to confess that he had murdered their young son. The couple had been living separately due to ongoing marital disputes.

According to Komal's statement to police, she and her two children had been staying away from Narender because of problems in their relationship. On Tuesday morning, her younger son went to school as usual but never returned home. When she became worried about his whereabouts, her husband called her with the shocking news.

"My younger son had gone to school today but did not return. Later, my husband, Narender, told me that he had killed him," Komal told police in her complaint. This confession over the phone call shows that the murder was intentional.

Police immediately responded to Komal's complaint and registered an FIR at Narela police station. When officers reached the scene, they found the child's body with clear injury marks on his neck, suggesting he was strangled or attacked in the neck area. A senior police officer confirmed the details, saying: "On Tuesday, we were informed that the body of a 10-year-old child had been found with visible injury marks on his neck." The physical evidence at the crime scene supports the mother's account of what happened.

The police have registered a case under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), which is India's new criminal law code. They are now focused on tracking down Narender, who fled after committing the crime and informing his wife about it. "An FIR has been registered under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), and efforts are being made to apprehend the absconding father, who has been accused for his involvement in this case," the police officer stated.

The fact that Narender called his separated wife to confess after killing his own child raises the possibility that this was an act of revenge or an effort to inflict the greatest amount of emotional suffering on Komal.

In order to find the accused father, police are likely examining phone records, CCTV footage, and other evidence to track down the accused father. They are also providing support to the grieving mother who has lost her child in such a brutal manner.
