Discovery of Divya Pahuja's Body Unravels Shocking Crime Details

The murder of model Divya Pahuja, once the girlfriend of Haryana gangster Sandeep Gadoli, has taken a chilling turn. After 12 days of intense investigation, Haryana Police discovered Divya's lifeless body in the Bhakra canal in Jakhal, Fatehabad. Identification was made through tattoos on her body, and the body underwent a medical examination after being recovered from the canal.

Following the arrest of Balraj Gill in Kolkata, a crucial accomplice in the case, the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) deployed 25 teams to search for Divya's body from Patiala to Khanouri. Gurugram ACP Crime Varun Dahiya confirmed the identification of Divya through her family after her body was found.

Divya Pahuja, residing in Baldev Nagar, Gurugram, was brutally shot on January 2nd at Hotel City Point. The hotel owner, Abhijeet Singh, was identified as the perpetrator. The crime unfolded a day before the incident, on January 1st, when Abhijeet Singh, Divya Pahuja, and Balraj Gill visited Hotel City Point. The CCTV footage revealed their presence at the hotel reception.

Balraj Gill, a lawyer by profession and Abhijeet's close associate, disclosed that he, along with Ravi Banga, threw Divya's body into the Bhakra canal. After committing the crime, Balraj and Ravi abandoned Abhijeet's BMW at the bus stand parking in Patiala. The police suspected the possibility of blackmail, leading to the murder, as Abhijeet claimed Divya possessed compromising photos.

Six individuals, including Abhijeet Singh, Hemraj, Omprakash, Megha (Abhijeet's girlfriend), Balraj Gill, and Pravesh, have been arrested in connection with the case. Pravesh, who worked as Abhijeet's Personal Security Officer (PSO), was found with two weapons and 40 cartridges during his arrest. The recovery also included three homemade pistols and 42 cartridges, highlighting the involvement of illegal arms in the crime.

Balraj Gill and Ravi Banga, residents of Mohali and Hisar respectively, were college friends. Balraj Gill, working as a lawyer, had a longstanding association with Abhijeet Singh. The three suspects reportedly travelled together to dispose of Divya's body.

The police discovered a significant amount of cash exceeding 12 lakh rupees inside the BMW used in disposing of Divya's body. The investigation is now focused on unravelling the distribution of this substantial cash amount. Furthermore, the police are scrutinising the connection between the suspects and the recovered weapons.

As the investigation progresses, the shocking details surrounding Divya Pahuja's murder continue to unfold. The arrested individuals are expected to face charges related to the heinous crime, shedding light on the dark and complex web of relationships and motives behind this tragic incident.
