The accused in the murder case of Rajasthan lady doctor Bhawna Yadav, Udesh Yadav, who was arrested late Thursday evening from Hisar, has been presented in court today. The court has sent the accused to three days of police remand.
Civil Line police station officials presented Udesh in court following his arrest. During the police remand period, authorities will investigate the whereabouts of the accused's mobile phone. According to information obtained from the police, after admitting Dr. Bhawna to the hospital, the accused had fled to his sister's home in Bikaner, Rajasthan.
Police have reported that preliminary investigations indicate Udesh was the one who poured oil on Dr. Bhawna and set her on fire. According to police, Dr. Bhawna was pressuring Udesh to marry her and divorce his wife, which led him to commit the crime.
Udesh's family members claim innocence of Udesh and stated that Bhawna set herself on fire. They raised the question that if Udesh has set her on fire then why would he take her to the hospital? The police is investigating all aspects of the case.
The investigation continues as authorities work to piece together the events leading to the tragic death of Dr. Bhawna Yadav and determine the truth behind the contradicting claims.
