Congress Aims to Connect with Every Household and Voter
In a significant move, the Congress party in Haryana has announced the initiation of the "Ghar-Ghar Congress, Har Ghar Congress" campaign starting January 15. The objective is to bring Congress policies and government shortcomings to every home and voter in the state. The decision was made during a state-level meeting chaired by party in-charge Deepak Babriya at the Congress Bhavan in Chandigarh.
Prominent Leaders Attend Meeting
The meeting witnessed the presence of former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda, State President Chaudhary Uday Bhan, Rajya Sabha member Deepender Hooda, party legislators, former lawmakers, senior leaders, and Congress volunteers. The participants deliberated on strategies to effectively communicate with voters and address their concerns.
Deepak Babriya Outlines the Campaign Approach
Deepak Babriya highlighted that the Haryana Congress is actively gearing up for the upcoming elections. The launch of Rahul Gandhi's "Bharat Jodo Nyaya Yatra" from January 14 is expected to receive historical support, and immediately following this, the "Ghar-Ghar Congress" campaign will kick off. The campaign aims to establish one-to-one dialogues with voters, emphasising how Congress fulfils its promises, in contrast to the BJP's record of breaking them.
Congress Prepares for Booth-level Engagement
Babriya revealed that under the campaign, booth-level committees consisting of 31 members each will be formed. These committees will be responsible for managing the eradication of bogus votes, understanding people's issues, and connecting them with Congress through social media.
Deepender Hooda's Insights
Deepender Hooda asserted that leaders are leaving the BJP-JJP alliance despite being in power, joining Congress continuously. With 37 former ministers, lawmakers, and ex-legislators joining Congress from other parties, it reflects the party's growing strength in Haryana.
Haryana Leads in Congress Donations
Haryana has played a significant role in the "Donate for the Nation" campaign initiated on the 138th foundation day of Congress. The state has contributed INR 1.38 crore, securing the second position after Telangana. This generous support underlines the active involvement of Haryana Congress members in the party's initiatives.
Meeting on District Presidents on January 14
A crucial meeting is scheduled in Delhi on January 14, where Congress leaders, including former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda and State President Chaudhary Uday Bhan, will finalise the appointments of district presidents in Haryana. This meeting aims to streamline the organisational structure for an effective implementation of the "Ghar-Ghar Congress" campaign.
Congress Envisions a Bright Future in Haryana
With leaders like Nirmal Singh and Chitra Sarwara joining Congress, the party is gaining strength in Haryana. Deepender Hooda, Uday Bhan, and Ajay Yadav will inaugurate the "Ghar-Ghar Congress, Har Ghar Congress" campaign, fostering the party's visibility and outreach across the state.
