Chautala's Critique on Former CM Hooda and Son's Statements:
Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala criticised former CM Bhupinder Singh Hooda and his son, Deepender Hooda, stating that their statements lack substance and new ideas. He accused them of being self-centred with no vision beyond their own interests.
Allegations Against Hooda's Administration:
Chautala alleged that during Bhupinder Singh Hooda's tenure, extensive land was allocated to private builders, surpassing 63,000 acres, a decision contested even by the Supreme Court. He further claimed irregularities in recruitments and criticised Hooda for playing politics rather than focusing on public welfare.
Development and Investment in Haryana:
Chautala emphasised the progress in Haryana during the past four years, citing a significant investment of 38,000 crores. Despite challenges like COVID-19 and farmer protests, industries maintained confidence in the state, attributing it to effective policies.
Digital Governance and Citizen Services:
Responding to accusations of bureaucratic hindrances, Chautala highlighted over 600 services available online, simplifying processes for citizens. He contrasted this with the alleged intention of the Congress to burden the public with bureaucratic hurdles.
Stability of Coalition Government:
Chautala dismissed speculations about the coalition government's instability, asserting that both parties have worked collaboratively for Haryana's progress. He stated that the alliance has completed over four years, proving its resilience.
Efforts to Provide Opportunities for Youth:
Addressing the concern of unemployment, Chautala outlined efforts to create job opportunities for youth, including collaborations with foreign countries like Israel and Ukraine. Skill development initiatives aim to match specific skills with employment opportunities abroad.
Counter to Hooda's Allegations of Plunder:
Chautala refuted Deepender Hooda's accusations of plundering the state's assets, turning the blame on the Congress. He pointed to ongoing investigations by agencies like the Enforcement Directorate and highlighted instances of corruption during the Congress regime.
Transparent Governance and Regional Development:
Chautala asserted that his government ensured transparency in the development of all constituencies, in contrast to the alleged favouritism during Hooda's rule. Grants are distributed equitably among 6,800 villages and 6,300 gram panchayats, promoting balanced regional growth.
