With the current state government being a coalition between BJP and JJP, Sabharwal is confident that the victory in Bawal will contribute to the coalition's success.

Shyam Sundar Sabharwal, the General Secretary of JJP, has initiated his campaign with a declaration of allegiance to the coalition, emphasising that the Bawal seat will remain with JJP. Currently, the Bawal constituency is represented in the state cabinet by Dr. Banwari Lal, an influential figure with the backing of senior leader and Union Minister Rao Inderjit Singh.

Strategic Meetings and Alliances:

Sabharwal, during a recent meeting with party workers hinted at a potential collaboration with Rao Inderjit Singh, further strengthening his candidacy. Notably, Singh's family holds significant influence in the Rampura House, a stronghold in the Bawal constituency.

Past Electoral Engagements:

Having contested in Bawal in 2014 and 2019, Sabharwal faced stiff competition, especially against Dr. Banwari Lal, who secured victory in the last elections. Despite challenges, Sabharwal remains a prominent figure in the Bawal political landscape, aligning himself closely with JJP and projecting a strong alliance with Rao Inderjit Singh.
